THE PRODUCT
One place for the course, labs and progress.
The lecturer creates groups, assigns roles, publishes scenarios and decides when each lab is available. Every participant receives a unique URL to an isolated application environment and works with a dynamic flag. The lecturer can follow live events, group results and individual participant KPIs without assembling the course from unrelated tools.
The catalogue currently contains more than 33 scenarios and continues to grow. Teams can also add their own exercises, which keeps the curriculum under the control of the people responsible for the learning objective.
EVIDENCE
Developed around a real academic course.
PentestCamp was used during an academic semester at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. A May 2026 survey covered 37 respondents and produced an average recommendation score of 7.59 out of 10. The public participant reviews are anonymised, while the product screenshots show the current lecturer, participant and group views.
We describe the product as semester-first: it is designed for recurring classes, deadlines and progress over time. This differs from event-first CTF platforms, catalogue-first self-study services and simulation-first cyber ranges, which address other training formats.
